Mirista was the pseudonym of Giuseppa Eleonora Barbapiccola, Philosopher, Poet and Translator that lived in Naples in the Eighteenth Century

The Academy of Philosophy:

1. spreads, valorises and develops the work of Barbapiccola and her commitment to the recognition of women’s intellectual abilities;

2. promotes philosophical research and interdisciplinary scientific dialogue through events, seminars and publications;

3. organizes philosophy courses for members;

4. plans and manages educational paths aimed at students of all levels of citizenship, inclusion and health;

5. contributes to the dissemination of philosophical practices through research, studies, seminars and the creation of a listening point

6. supports campaigns in favor of healthy and inclusive practices.
